ANU Chancellor’s International Scholarship Amount
The ANU Chancellor’s International Scholarship does not mention a monetary value by a percentage up to which your tuition fee will be waived. However, the value of the award will be mentioned in your Scholarship offer letter. The scholarship category for which you will be eligible for will be decided based on various factors which we discuss later in this article.

Other Benefits and Scholarship Duration
The ANU Chancellor’s International Scholarship also promises a guaranteed accommodation for your first year of study. Besides, you will pay a reduced tuition deposit of AUD 10,000 instead of the standard deposit amount listed on the admissions offer letter. The ANU Chancellor’s International Scholarship is offered for the entire duration of your academics (UG/ PG).
ANU Chancellor’s International Scholarship Eligibility
- You are defined as an overseas student under the terms of the Education Services for Overseas Students Act 2000
- You do not hold a 995 visa
- You have received an offer of admission at the Australian National University
- You have not received this scholarship previously for the same level of study
- Meet other criteria (set for your academics during admissions)
Ongoing Eligibility
- Enrolled in a full- time load of 24 units per semester/6 month period. Part time students need special permissions from the Dean.
- Maintain a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 5.0 or above each semester. If you fail to achieve this in any semester, a warning will be sent.
**Keep in mind that the university can cease the scholarship or ask you to surrender in case you fail to maintain the ongoing eligibility.
How to Apply for the ANU Chancellor’s International Scholarship
There is no need to apply separately for the ANU Chancellor’s International Scholarship. If you have received your admission offer letter at the ANU, and stand strong on the other eligibility requirements for the scholarship mentioned above, you will be automatically considered. However, you will need to accept both your academic and scholarship offer letter separately. If there are any further requirements, it will be mentioned in your scholarship offer letter.
