Admission

Eligibility Criteria

Undergraduate Courses

  • To be eligible for an undergraduate course at the University of Calgary, students must be at least 16 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent. 
  • For international students, the equivalent would be an equivalent of a Canadian high school diploma. In addition, students must have a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 2.0 or higher.

  • International applicants must also provide proof of English proficiency by submitting scores from the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or the International English Language Testing System (IELTS).

Postgraduate Courses

  • To be eligible for a postgraduate course at the University of Calgary, applicants must have completed a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) from an accredited university. 
  • The University of Calgary also requires that applicants have a minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher.
