Admission Requirements for Cybersecurity Courses in the UK

For Undergraduate Admissions (any of the below or overseas equivalent):

  • A Level ABB on average is acceptable for top universities. However, you can also proceed with BBB grades. Higher Levels in Computing, Computer Science, or Mathematics will be considered for a lower offer.
  • International Baccalaureate 35 points overall with 16 points from the best 3 Higher Level subjects
  • High School Diploma or an equivalent from a recognized university with a GPA of 3.0 or above.

  • You’ll need an upper 2:1 degree (Upper second-class honors degree) with a mark of 65% or above in computer science, computer engineering, cyber security, information technology, electronic engineering, or software engineering or an equivalent.

If your first language is English and you have been a citizen of a majority English-speaking country, you are exempted from providing evidence of English language proficiency. However, if you fail to meet the given criteria,  you must provide evidence that you meet the English language requirement for the course. You can give any of the following
