Eligibility Criteria For LSBF
Diploma Programs
Minimum Age Requirement: 18
Minimum Academic Entry Criteria:
Local Students:
- Possession of at least two passes in GCE ‘A’ Level.
- Attainment of the International Baccalaureate (with a minimum of 24 points).
- Holding a Local Polytechnic Diploma in any field.
International Students:
- Completion of Year 12 High School Qualification or an equivalent credential from their respective home countries.
- Successful completion of the International Baccalaureate (with a minimum of 24 points).
- Possession of an Equivalent Local Polytechnic Diploma in any field from their home countries.
English Language Entry Criteria:
Both local and international students are required to meet the minimum English language entry standards, excluding Mandarin programs. This includes satisfying one of the following conditions:
- Attainment of a grade C6 or higher in English language in GCE O level.
- Successful completion of English Language in Year 10 High School or its equivalent.
- Achieving a score of IELTS 5.5 / TOEFL 550.
- Completion of the LSBF Preparatory Course in English at the Upper Intermediate Level.
Special Considerations: Students with non-standard entry requirements, such as possessing qualifications from other Private Education Institutions (PEIs) or lacking an equivalent Year 12 qualification in their home country, will undergo a case-by-case assessment, contingent upon approval by the Academic Board.
Undergraduate Programs
Students who have satisfactorily concluded any of the following:
- LSBF Advanced Diploma in Business Studies
- LSBF Higher Diploma in Business Studies
- Diploma from a Polytechnic or other Private Education Institutions (PEIs) in a relevant field
Students holding equivalent qualifications in pertinent fields will undergo a case-by-case assessment, subject to university approval.
Minimum English Language Entry Criteria: Candidates who have not previously pursued qualifications in English must attain a minimum IELTS score of 6.0 or its equivalent in an accepted English language test.

Minimum English Language Entry Criteria:
Applicants who have not previously pursued qualifications in English must achieve an IELTS score of 6.0 or its equivalent.
Minimum Age Requirement:
Prospective students must be 21 years or above.
Professional Qualification Programs
We provide multiple entry options for the ACCA Qualification based on your prior academic achievements.
Professional Examination Route (PER): Candidates must be 18 years old and above, in addition to meeting any of the following criteria:
- Two GCE ‘A’ Levels and three GCE ‘O’ Levels or equivalent (in five separate subjects, including English and Mathematics).
- Polytechnic Diploma.
- Recognized University degree.
- LCCI – Successful completion of three Level 3 subjects (or a Group Diploma) plus two Level 2 subjects (or equivalent), including English and Mathematics.
- Preparatory Course for ACCA – Diploma in Accounting and Business.
Graduate-Entry Route: Holders of relevant degrees from ACCA-accredited institutions may be eligible for exemptions from all nine exams in the Fundamentals level, allowing direct registration at the Strategic Professional level. Degrees with some relevance may also qualify for exemptions.
English Language Requirements: ACCA classes are conducted in English. Candidates without:
- IELTS score of 5.5 and above.
- TOEFL IBT score of 74 and above or its equivalent.
- Proof of a minimum of 12 years of education with English as the medium of instruction.
